Change of mind returns

We offer a 14-day change of mind return policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will arrange a return.

To be eligible the chair must be in the same condition it was delivered - unused and unmodified. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item was misrepresented in the listing.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item we will process your refund within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

12-month warranty

Every chair we sell comes with a 12-month warranty covering all mechanical components - gas lift, tilt mechanism, armrest adjustment, lumbar support, and base integrity.

If anything fails under normal use within 12 months of purchase we will repair or replace it.

The warranty does not cover cosmetic wear, damage caused by misuse, or issues resulting from modifications to the chair.

Damaged on arrival

If your chair arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund.

We take full responsibility for transit damage and will not ask you to pursue the carrier directly.

How to make a claim

Email us at hello@thegoodchairs.com.au with your order number and a description of the issue. Include photos where relevant. We aim to respond within one business day and will guide you through the process.

What we don't cover

  • Cosmetic wear consistent with normal use
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or modifications
  • Change of mind returns requested after 14 days
  • Items that have been modified or repaired by a third party
