The Mirra — sustainability, engineered in from the start
Launched in 2003 and designed by Studio 7.5, the original Mirra was a landmark chair — the first Herman Miller designed from the ground up around environmental principles, and an early benchmark for what a responsible task chair could be. Its AireWeave suspension back and Harmonic tilt brought genuine high-performance ergonomics to the everyday desk.
Highly adjustable and famously durable, the Mirra earned a loyal following in offices worldwide and remains a superb value on the second-hand market. It offers much of the support and adjustability of its successors at a more accessible price — a workhorse that has comfortably outlasted the trends it was born into.
