The graceful silhouette sits equally well in all home and workplace interiors. An enduring design, these chairs have been in high demand since the Fifties, and are still available for sale new via high-end design stores such as Living Edge. The original manual lift uses a spin mechanism to raise or lower the chair's height. The chair swivels on a five-point base for ease of use and is on casters. In good condition, with slight wear on the leather and polished aluminium. These two chairs can be sold separately or together. They will move quickly.

The Eames Aluminum Group — a modern classic
Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1958, the Aluminum Group began not as office furniture but as elegant seating for a private home commissioned by Eero Saarinen and Alexander Girard. The Eameses suspended a single panel of fabric or leather between two slim aluminium ribs, creating a seat that contours to the body without any visible padding or frame.
More than sixty years on, it remains one of the most recognisable chairs ever made and is still produced by Herman Miller today.
